#1 Reason why The Undisputed Era split in WWE NXT
There have been very few factions in WWE of late that have found major success. Some of the top factions in the past few years include The New Day, Wyatt Family and The Shield. However, one group that had taken the WWE Universe by storm was NXT's The Undisputed Era.
The stable consisted of Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish. They disbanded recently after Cole attacked O'Reilly unceremoniously on an episode of WWE NXT.
Speaking to ViBe & Wrestling, Kyle O'Reilly talked about The Undisputed Era's split and why it came about. He said he didn't like the way the group was operating and wanted to be a more 'honorable' fighter.
"When Adam Cole kicked me in the face, I realized, but before that, I felt maybe rumblings because I was in a weird place in the summer before that, maybe six months out Adam kicking my teeth down my throat. I was in a weird spot because I thought I was growing as a performer because I was sick of the tactics of The Undisputed Era. There were a lot of underhanded tactics that we used to great success, and we saw a lot of championship gold, but we were attacking guys in the parking lot; we were clobbering them in the knees with weapons, so to speak. But I wanted to be a more honorable fighter,'' said Kyle O'Reilly.
