Spoiler on massive face vs. face main event planned for WWE RAW - Reports

A potential spoiler on a major face-to-face scheduled for tonight's episode of WWE RAW has been revealed. Tonight's edition of the red brand will be the first show following Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

According to Sportskeeda Wrestling's Dr. Chris Featherstone, Seth Rollins will be squaring off against Sami Zayn in the main event of tonight's show. Featherstone also disclosed that CM Punk and Jey Uso would be involved in the opening segment, leading to Rollins facing Zayn in the main event.

Seth Rollins confronted CM Punk on the October 7 edition of WWE RAW after The Second City Saint defeated Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match at Bad Blood. Rollins was asked to compete alongside the OG Bloodline in the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series, but he refused to ever team up with Roman Reigns again.

CM Punk wound up being the OG Bloodline's final teammate, and he helped Roman Reigns' team defeat Solo Sikoa's faction in the Men's WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series. Rollins did not compete in a match at the premium live event over the weekend.

Wrestling legend Teddy Long shared his thoughts on CM Punk, claiming he wasted matches in AEW.

All Elite Wrestling fired the Second City Saint following All In 2023 after he got into a backstage altercation with Jack Perry. Punk recently suggested that he wasted some matches while in AEW, and Teddy Long shared his thoughts on the veteran's comments.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Long noted that Punk was the veteran, and it was his job to help the younger talent he worked with.

"Well, I don't think he should say things like that. I think anybody that you step into the ring with, if they're not polished, then your job is to help polish them. So anybody that stepped in there with him, if they're slack and then he knows to go to him and talk to him and say, hey, hey, come on, man. You got to step it up. Here's what we need to do. But then there are some guys that you can't talk to. They don't want to hear it. They already think they know it all. But one of the names he had in there is MJF. I have to pull that out. You ain't gonna waste no time with MJF."

CM Punk and Seth Rollins were seemingly heading toward a clash at WrestleMania XL, but injuries prevented the match from happening. It will be interesting to see if WWE has any surprises in store during tonight's episode of RAW.
