Despite his busy schedule, The Brahma Bull has made sporadic appearances for WWE, where he is now a member of the board of directors of the parent company, TKO Group. His most notable appearance was in the Cody Rhodes story at WrestleMania 40. He even competed on Night One of the show and was involved in Night Two.

His last appearance was at WWE Bad Blood, where he showed up after Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes won their match. This fueled speculation that The Final Boss was returning to the company, but he hasn't been seen since Bad Blood.

However, The Great One has been busy as his latest movie, Moana 2, was released on November 27, 2024. The Rock played the role of Maui - a shapeshifting demigod who accompanies Moana on her journey.

Roman Reigns hints at a possible dream match against The Rock

The Rock was originally planned to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, and things were set in motion. However, the WWE Universe wanted to see Cody Rhodes challenge Reigns and finish his story. Fans let their voices be heard. As a result, the Stamford-based promotion changed direction to have The American Nightmare challenge Reigns for the title. However, this dream match could still take place.

During a recent interview on the SI Media podcast, Roman Reigns spoke about the possibility of a dream match against The Final Boss. He said that the company could make it happen if that's what the fans want.

"That goes to back to, there is a lot of meat on the bone. If Dwayne can’t come in and ‘boom, this is how it is,’ that’s when you know you’re cooking up with good ingredients. That’s why he is tied in the way he is and part of the board. We’re at an unprecedented time right now. Business is great and we want to continue to push things up. If that’s what the people want, and the People’s Champ is down, I’m sure we can make something happen," said Roman Reigns.
