The WWE Universe continues to buzz over The Undertaker exactly 52 months after he officially announced his retirement. Taker has managed to stay relevant in life after the ring, with happenings inside and outside of the business. Sources just revealed how WWE is apparently set to bring The Deadman back to the storylines.
The Phenom made his NXT debut one year and 11 days ago, on the October 10, 2023 edition of NXT from the WWE Performance Center, which was a special episode as AEW Dynamite was moved up a night, airing head-to-head with NXT as a Title Tuesday special. Officials loaded NXT up with Taker, Paul Heyman, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Asuka.
Taker is reportedly headed back to NXT. A new report from PWInsider notes how there was talk going around the WWE Performance Center in Orlando today that said The Deadman is expected to be back at the facility next week.

The source added that Taker may be appearing on the October 29 edition of NXT while he's in town. This would be the post-Halloween Havoc NXT episode, which will air just two days after the PLE scheduled for Sunday, October 27. It wasn't clear what The Last Outlaw might be doing or who he is expected to work with if he returns to NXT.
Taker's surprise NXT debut last year came after Carmelo Hayes (w/ John Cena) defeated Bron Breakker (w/ Paul Heyman). After the match, Breakker assaulted the winner until Undertaker rode out on his motorcycle and took the mic. Taker admitted he's been watching Bron for a while and knows one day he will be a special talent, but not today.
Taker then decked the second-generation Superstar and finished him with a chokeslam. The show ended after the Texas native delivered a quick promo at Breakker, then celebrated with Hayes.
