The current era of WWE has several dominant factions vying for the top spot on their respective brands. Triple H is known to be a fan of stables, and he's stacked the roster with groups like The Bloodline, The Judgment Day, No Quarter Catch Crew, and The D'Angelo Family, among others.
The Wyatt Sicks aren't the average pro wrestling faction. The sinister quintet was inspired by the late Bray Wyatt and is led by his brother Bo Dallas, aka Uncle Howdy. The other members Ramblin' Rabbit aka Erick Rowan, Abby The Witch aka Nikki Cross, Huskus The Pig Boy aka Joe Gacy, and Mercy The Buzzard aka Dexter Lumis.
Uncle Howdy and his friends arrived on RAW several weeks back, and there was a massacre. Since then, the faction has only appeared on WWE's flagship TV show. A new report from Fightful Select noted that The Wyatt Sicks are internally considered members of the RAW roster.
It was speculated that we could see Howdy, Rabbit, Abby, Huskus, and Mercy on SmackDown shortly. WWE has had creative plans in place for a domino effect of sorts, to where the impact of the faction will be felt across the various RAW storylines. However, it was noted that The Wyatt Sicks likely will not interact with every red brand program.
WWE has not updated its public roster with The Wyatt Sicks. While a group photo is on display next to the 'current superstars' category, none of the individual Wyatt Sicks members have been assigned to a roster.
Top WWE star shares thoughts on The Wyatt Sicks
WWE has brought back a new level of creative writing to the storylines with the introduction of The Wyatt Sicks. A top superstar with some old-school style is weighing in on the faction.
Gunther recently spoke with Gorilla Position and admitted that the Wyatt Sicks are probably not his style. However, the 36-year-old understands why the fans are interested.
"First of all, everything, it’s not just wrestling, it’s also movies, like the genre, everything that has to do with spooky stuff or ghosts, or supernatural, that’s not my taste at all. I’m more documentary guy, I love history, and I like movies about a topic or happenings that really happened. So it’s hard to judge when it’s not your taste, but by the reactions of our audience, obviously, there’s a big interest in it," Gunther said.
Gunther continued and commented on why he hasn't paid much attention to The Wyatt Sicks while also offering a prediction on how Triple H will handle the storyline.
The Imperium leader is set to challenge World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest for the title at SummerSlam.
