There has been an unfortunate update about Braun Strowman following last night's edition of WWE RAW. The former Universal Champion was in action during the main event of last night's show in a Last Monster Standing match against Bronson Reed.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Braun Strowman suffered a significant injury during the Last Monster Standing match. Alvarez shared that he heard that Strowman may have torn his groin during the bout.
"[Strowman] starts running, and I knew immediately, this guy's hurt. He normally can't run all that fast, but he couldn't even walk the ropes - he was limping the ropes. He knocks [Reed] off the apron and there was a long period where he just kind of laid there in the corner and the ref's furiously communicating with the back. He may have torn his groin is what it's looking like. That's certainly what they thought yesterday," he said. [H/T: WrestleTalk]
Seth Rollins returned to RAW during the final moments of the Last Monster Standing match last night and hit Bronson Reed with a Stomp, allowing Braun Strowman to pick up the victory. It was The Visionary's first appearance on WWE television since Reed brutally attacked him on the August 5 edition of RAW.
Former WWE writer Vince Russo claims Last Monster Standing match was ruined on RAW
Vince Russo was not a fan of a major spot during the Last Monster Standing match between Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed last night on WWE RAW.
Speaking on this week's edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo noted that the ring collapsing during the match was very predictable. The legend added that the ring posts were generic, and he saw the spot coming before it took place.
"Did you not see that ring collapse coming 18,000 miles away? First of all, the ring posts are completely different, bare, generic. I saw that coming a mile away." [From 2:27 onwards]

Seth Rollins has not competed in a match since WWE Money in the Bank in July. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for The Visionary's rivalry with Bronson Reed in the weeks ahead.
