There has been a new report on a 25-year-old's departure from WWE today. The promotion is getting set for WWE RAW for the fallout episode after Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, tonight in Ottawa, Canada.
Damon Kemp joined WWE in 2021 and performed in NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live during his tenure with the company. He also had stints in the Diamond Mine and No Quarter Catch Crew factions in NXT. Kemp took to social media earlier today to announce that he was no longer under contract with the promotion. A new report from Fightful Select has provided some more details on the matter.
Fightful is reporting that Kemp was not part of the "round of cuts" and he was informed his contract would not be renewed by the company. The report added that Kemp made a "much better impression" on WWE officials and fans than his brother Gable Steveson was able to.
Gable Steveson was released by the promotion earlier this year and has signed with the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.

Popular WWE star comments on Gable Steveson being released
RAW star Chad Gable has shared his thoughts on Gable Steveson's departure from the promotion.
In a recent interview with Gorilla Position, Gable was asked about the 24-year-old being let go by the company and gave his perspective on the situation. The veteran noted that Steveson was a freak athlete but professional wrestling may not have been a fit for him.
"I don't know if that's what it was that for him because the physical part of it, I can't imagine that was a problem for him. He's a freak athlete in like the next-level sense of the word. So, hopefully, whatever he decides to transition into, football, I hope he does very well but for some people [amateurs, athletes and other sports person], they find out it's not for them," Gable said.
