Jacob Fatu’s presence in The Bloodline has elevated Solo Sikoa’s faction in WWE. A recent report has shed some light on his potential return from injury.

Solo Sikoa relied heavily on Jacob Fatu during his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. The latter leveled the Undisputed WWE Champion with a big splash on the announce table during the clash but seemed to have hurt himself. Many reports state that he wasn’t legitimately injured during the spot. However, other outlets claimed that The Samoan Werewolf did pick up an injury at the show.

A recent report by PW Insider Elite has issued a positive update on Fatu’s injury. It states that Fatu is expected to return to in-ring action by the end of August 2024. It did not reveal the nature of Jacob Fatu’s injury and whether he would have to undergo any procedures. The Samoan Werewolf may be on track to get back in the ring soon.

The creative team will take a sigh of relief if the reports are accurate. It looks like Triple H is building toward a massive rivalry between Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline and Roman Reigns’ faction. The Samoan Werewolf is also one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions and will have to defend the title down the line.

WWE veteran believes Jacob Fatu legitimately injured himself at SummerSlam

Jacob Fatu’s in-ring status will be critical to Triple H and his team. The former was recently brought into the company to work with Solo Sikoa in the all-important Bloodline drama.

Speaking on the Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the veteran noted that it looked as if the Bloodline member injured himself during the big spot.

"I think he legitimately got hurt, I think, because even if you look at the move he did, he comes off the top turnbuckle and down to the table where Cody was and he got hurt. And he sold it right away. I mean, he grabbed it right away," Mantell said.

The move proved costly for Solo, who didn't have The Samoan Werewolf to defend him when Roman Reigns showed up. It also led to his defeat at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

WWE fans will be hoping to see Fatu back in the ring.
