While Vince McMahon is no longer associated with WWE, he seems to have no intention of staying retired. According to a recent report, the former Chairman is prepping to launch a new entertainment-based company, with multiple WWE alumni already working on the project.
Vince McMahon stepped down as the Chairman and CEO of the global juggernaut in 2022 following allegations of sexual misconduct. However, he returned to the company to facilitate a sale last year. After Endeavor Group Holdings took over the company and merged with UFC, the 79-year-old was given the position of Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings. However, he resigned from the position in January earlier this year after former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against him.
A recent report from PWInsider states that Vince McMahon is planning to launch an entertainment-based company. Several former names from World Wrestling Entertainment are already working on the project. Brad Blum, the company's former Chief Operating Officer, and Kristen Prouty, who was the promotion's liaison to the Hollywood world, are reported to be working with McMahon.
It was also noted that there are no plans for this company to launch anything similar to WWE, but instead, it would financially back, develop, and produce film and television productions, focusing on fiction and non-fiction projects.
