Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's return to WWE has been a topic of much discussion as WrestleMania 41 fast approaches. Now, a worrying update has come to light due to his uncertain status for The Grandest Stage of Them All.

The Final Boss' last appearance in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut, as of this writing, was in the final moments of the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event. He stood on the entrance ramp and made a throat-slashing gesture towards Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso, who were in the ring.

Despite The Rock's busy non-WWE schedule, it is expected that he will play a big role at WrestleMania 41 and possibly on RAW's debut on Netflix next week.

However, according to Ibou of WrestlePurists, uncertainty around the 52-year-old legend has made people within the Stamford-based promotion "extremely uneasy." It has also forced them to move forward with "bated breath" and a "lack of clarity," as far as The Show of Shows is concerned.

A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE

"All I know is that when I talk to people within the company about 'Mania, they’re all extremely uneasy about Dwayne’s looming presence. The unknown of whether he’s gonna do the show or not has caused everyone to essentially proceeed forward with bated breath and a lack of clarity," the post read.

Former WWE star wants The Rock to "finish the story" at WrestleMania 41

While speaking to The Action Network, former WWE star Nick Dinsmore (FKA Eugene) said that he hopes to see The Rock compete at WrestleMania 41, especially because of the different stories that can be told with his character.

The 49-year-old put forward the idea of The Brahma Bull possibly finishing the story with rival Cody Rhodes or even clashing with cousin Roman Reigns on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

"I hope he [The Rock] will return to WrestleMania, and if so, the storylines are endless, but it depends if he has time for it because The Rock is so busy. Perhaps he can 'finish the story' with Cody Rhodes and have a great match with him or Roman Reigns. They were originally going to fight at the last WrestleMania so that’s another option," he said.

It will be interesting to see if the WWE legend makes his comeback on RAW's Netflix premiere and sets up a WrestleMania feud with either Cody or Reigns.
