According to a new report from Fightful Select, WWE is expected to have interest in signing Rey Fenix when his contract is up in 2024. His Lucha Bros tag team partner and real-life brother, Penta El Zero Miedo, also has interest from the promotion and both stars' AEW contracts are set to expire this year. The exact date of when their deals with Jacksonville-based promotion will expire remains unknown.
It was also noted in the report that All Elite Wrestling wants to keep Penta and Fenix's contract and there were "offers extended."

Dutch Mantell comments on major star's rumored WWE exit
Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell recently shared his thoughts on Bobby Lashley being removed from WWE's internal roster and his future in the wrestling business.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk podcast, Mantell discussed the reports of Lashley's contract with the company expiring soon. The veteran stated that he didn't see any direction for The All Mighty in the company and added it would be difficult for him to get over with fans in All Elite Wrestling.
"He [Bobby Lashley] is close to 50 years old, isn’t he? Sometimes you gotta have an exit strategy anyway. I mean, your body is only going to hold up for so long. He’s in great shape, I am not saying he’s not but still. Bobby Lashley has been around a long time. If I were a booker and Bobby Lashley came in, I would actually be stretching my imagination to think what to do with him. Tony Khan, he may bring him in but we know how AEW works. They bring in guys, you see them for a couple of weeks and then you may not see them for a couple of months. It’s hard to get people over like that." [From 51:09 onwards]
