A Hall of Famer could reportedly return to WWE for a special role. He recently made an appearance on Monday Night RAW.
Jesse Ventura was once a stalwart of the ring and one of the most iconic figures in pro wrestling during the 1980s and 1990s. During his time in the business, he won several championships across various promotions. Despite his popularity and in-ring skills, Jesse Ventura wasn't able to win any titles in WWE (then WWF).
However, his contribution to the wrestling business earned him a place in the prestigious Hall of Fame in 2004. He was inducted along with Bobby Heenan, Sgt. Slaughter and Harley Race, to name a few. After spending years away from the company, Ventura made a special appearance during an episode of RAW in July.
Following this appearance, legendary wrestling promoter Greg Gagne claimed on the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast that the Stamford-based promotion is planning to use Jesse Ventura for a special role in its Saturday Night shows on NBC.

Bill Apter feels that WWE could make better use of Jesse Ventura this time
Despite Jesse Ventura's massive popularity back in the day, he was never pushed to the main event spot in WWE due to his average booking. However, this time could be different for the legend.
On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter mentioned that the promotion never utilized Jesse Ventura's popularity last time around, but the new management could try to use him better.
"Yeah, you figure now Jesse Ventura, for the fans of that era when he was a commentator, he had a very large fanbase that WWE never really marketed after he left. He didn't leave on conditions that either of them liked. But now with this new company, with TKO and Endeavor, it's like, 'Hey, why don't we do this? This guy was a legend. Let's do something with him.' That's the mentality." [From 02:31 onwards]
It will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and the Stamford-based promotion have for Jesse Ventura in the future.
