A WWE RAW star is set to leave the company after his contract expires. A report has now emerged that clarifies the details of his impending departure.

Over the last two months, fans have questioned what the promotion is doing with Dijak. The star had been called up to the main roster, but he was not being used on RAW as they thought he would be. He was never brought on the show, and instead, it appears that his contract was never renegotiated.

The WWE star announced on his Instagram that he was shockingly leaving WWE on June 28 as his contract would be expiring, and the company had never renegotiated for him to continue.

Now, a report from Fightful Select has added details as to why he is leaving and what happened. Dijak learned that his contract would not be renewed following his Speed match against Xavier Woods in the last two weeks.

Corey Brennan of Fightful Select was informed throughout this time that officials liked Dijak and praised him. The star informed Sean Ross Sapp that he knew something was wrong when he'd been called to the main roster but not booked on RAW.

His plans were shifted around, with him performing on Speed and Main Event but never RAW. There had even been preliminary negotiations for a contract with Dijak, but despite being positive, they were never followed up on with official negotiations. They never reached out again until he was informed that his contract would not be renewed.

Mustafa Ali sent Dijak a message after he announced he was leaving WWE

Mustafa Ali and Dijak were part of RETRIBUTION for a while on RAW. The faction never really got over, and it remains a darker spot in the careers of the stars involved.

Ali has now sent a message asking for a RETRIBUTION reunion now that Mace, Dijak, and Slapjack are all no longer with the company.

After leaving WWE in September 2023, Ali has been performing for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) on per-appearance deals. It remains to be seen if they will work together.
