If the latest reports are anything to go by then fans shouldn't expect to see former Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, in a WWE ring anytime soon.

The Beast Incarnate hasn't been brought back to the fold since he was allegedly referenced in the Vince McMahon lawsuit. Though Triple H has gone on record to say that he would be open to doing business with Brock Lesnar, legal complications have put his future up in the air.

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, veteran journalist Dave Meltzer reported that WWE's legal team has advised Hunter to steer clear of Brock Lesnar, at least, for the foreseeable future.

“If Brock [Lesnar] calls [WWE] and goes ‘I wanna come back for WrestleMania this year’, I was told that the lawyers advised nothing to do with Brock right now. That could change, they could go in there and say there’s been enough time. And I’m sure that’s what it was gonna be, is like ‘when is enough time to where we can think we can bring him back’. And that’s what it is," he said.

Meltzer continued that it was undoubtedly a serious matter which is why the legal team doesn't appear too keen on The Beast returning right away. However, circumstances could change for the better in the near future and, if that happened, Lesnar would be given the green signal to return.

"It’s not like nothing like ‘Oh we can bring back Brock’, and maybe they could but it’s got everything to do with the case, and obviously he [Triple H] won't say that publicly, and perhaps he shouldn’t. But if he comes back it’s because the lawyers have okay’d it, and if he doesn’t come back, it’s because they haven’t," he added.

Brock Lesnar last wrestled a WWE match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. Will The Alpha Male of our species return after nearly a one-year absence at The Biggest Party of the Summer? Only time will tell.
