All eyes are on John Cena as he embarks on his WWE retirement tour in less than 10 days. It looks like his rumored WrestleMania 41 match is now off the table.
The Cenation Leader returned at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event earlier this year to announce that he will officially retire from in-ring competition in 2025.
Next year's WrestleMania would be the last of his career. Several names have been thrown around as his potential opponent for The Show of Shows. Chief among them is RAW's newest acquisition, Logan Paul.
Recent rumors have suggested that a possible match between Paul and Cena was internally discussed for WrestleMania 41 in April 2025. But several "decently high-up people" were against it.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Maverick asked the creative to book him against The Cenation Leader at The Showcase of the Immortals, but the match is 100% not happening.
The idea of John Cena potentially breaking the record of Ric Flair for most World Title reigns was thrown around a month ago.
Interestingly, the 47-year-old megastar is not interested in winning his 17th World Championship as he wants to put over some talents in his farewell tour.

While John Cena vs. Logan Paul seems exciting on paper, it could be argued that the Cenation Leader's final WrestleMania opponent should be someone of his stature.
As such, the word making the rounds is that John Cena is "very likely" to lock horns with Randy Orton. The two men have never wrestled each other on the Showcase of the Immortals.
The Viper has previously expressed his desire to face the Cenation Leader for the title.
