CM Punk on WWE RAW Underground
RAW Underground might not have got the attention Shane McMahon and WWE hoped for this week. The new concept received mixed reactions but seems to have something to it in the long run.
CM Punk, who has always spoken out on issues related to WWE and other wrestling promotions, seems to have liked the concept. The former WWE Superstar now wants to see women get involved in RAW Underground soon, saying,
"I loved it. Let's get some women in there."
The brainchild of Shane McMahon, RAW Underground sees WWE Superstars fight in a ring without ropes and turnbuckles. It also takes placed in a dimly lit room inside of the WWE Performance Center and per Shane, there are almost no rules.
We still do not have full details on this concept and it seems to be a work in progress and could eventually turn out to be something interesting. However, we will have to wait for the next week's episode to see what comes out of it.
As far as we currently know, The Hurt Business (MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) seem intent on taking over the proceedings at RAW Underground, as this week's Monday Night RAW hinted at in its closing segment.
