WWE reportedly is set to make a major change to an upcoming premium live event. The promotion held Clash at the Castle: Scotland in Glasgow yesterday and the event featured five title matches.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, the promotion will not be having a press junket during Money in the Bank week next month. The premium live event is scheduled to take place on July 6 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. If there were to be a press junket during the week, it would mean the roster would have to travel to Canada during the July 4 holiday.
The report noted that WWE did something similar with Survivor Series: Wargames last year. The premium live event took place during the week of Thanksgiving and allowed talent to avoid having to travel on the holiday.
Triple H reacts to WWE star's injury at Clash at the Castle
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H shared his thoughts on Damian Priest seemingly getting injured during the World Heavyweight Championship match at Clash at the Castle: Scotland.
Speaking at the press conference following last night's premium live event, Triple H claimed his heart jumped out of his chest when he saw what happened to El Campeón. The Archer of Infamy got his foot caught in the ropes at the beginning of the match and it looked gnarly. However, recent reports suggest that Priest was able to avoid an injury during the scary sequence last night.
"When I saw that happen to Damian [Priest], my heart jumped out of my chest. I didn't see any way that he wasn't injured and when I got word that he says he is fine, which adrenaline is a hell of a drug. I'm really hoping when I leave here I am going to get good news. Because, while he is walking around okay now, I'm sure adrenaline is carrying him through that. There is such a fine line between what we do being safe and what we do not being safe," The Game said.
CM Punk interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Clash at the Castle: Scotland and helped Damian Priest defeat Drew McIntyre. It will be fascinating to see how The Scottish Warrior attempts to get his revenge in the weeks ahead.
