The Bloodline has taken up a major chunk of space and airtime in the storytelling of WWE for several years now. The Stamford-based promotion is also increasing the focus on the faction by signing more members of Samoa’s Anoa’i pro wrestling dynasty. Now, news has come that the company has signed a new deal with a former manager of a real-life Bloodline member. The man in question is Armando Alejandro Estrada, who managed the late legend Umaga.
According to reports from PWInsider, Estrada has been signed to a Legends contract by WWE. The 45-year-old had first worked for the Stamford-based promotion as a wrestler in 2004. However, he proved to be more of a success in managerial roles, especially when he worked with Umaga.
Estrada was later made the General Manager of the company’s version of the ECW as well. He first left the Stamford-based promotion back in 2008 and subsequently made a few underwhelming returns from 2010 to 2012. While he did have talent, some fans feel WWE Creative failed to properly utilize him.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
While Estrada’s last wrestling match came in 2013, he was seen in managerial roles several times after that. It remains to be seen how the legend would be utilized by the company this time and if he will have any role in The Bloodline’s story, especially when another WWE legend thinks Roman Reigns may soon be recruiting some stars to attack Solo Sikoa.
Rikishi Fatu thinks Roman Reigns will take the help of WWE stars other than The Usos
Rikishi recently predicted the next move of Roman Reigns on his Off The Top podcast. He noted that The OTC has been really quiet since Jacob Fatu silenced him after WWE SummerSlam on SmackDown. Considering this, he said that the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion could be building a special team to reclaim the Ula Fala.
“It seems like there's going to be some type of war games or something. We're just waiting for Roman to introduce his possibly OG Bloodline. You know, there's been stuff leaked out there with, you know, back in the day with Roman, Seth Rollins, and what's his name from AEW? (Jon Moxley) So who's to say, right? Because at this point right now, we see what Solo's doing. He's just recruiting people left and right. But in the meantime, Roman's kind of been real quiet. He just made his appearance, but now he's like, we're waiting, right? Where is he going to go from there? Does he come back with Jimmy and Jey? Or does he come back with Seth Rollins and Moxley?” [From 25:30 - 26:48]
While the chances of the former Dean Ambrose making a comeback are very slim, Reigns did team up with an unlikely ally this week on the blue brand. The Original Tribal Chief had helped Cody Rhodes escape an ambush by The Bloodline after he defended his title against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage match.
However, The American Nightmare didn’t feel very grateful for the help he received. Thus, when the time to sign a contract to team up with Reigns to face Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood came, Rhodes refused.
Later, however, a sneak attack by The Bloodline and some choice words by Solo made Rhodes sign the contract. It would be interesting to see how the team of these sworn rivals fares against a common enemy at WWE Bad Blood.
