Ex-WWE writer Vince Russo bashes SmackDown creative team
Wrestling legend, Vince Russo recently took SmackDown's creative team to task for their reliance on The Bloodline.
The heel faction attacked both Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton in the final minutes of last week's SmackDown. Speaking on this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo claimed that the company had nothing for Cody Rhodes as Undisputed WWE Champion. The veteran also stated that SmackDown revolved around The Bloodline and suggested there was nothing else to it.
"Let's not even talk about SmackDown. All SmackDown is, Bloodline at the end of the show. Bloodline over, the babyfaces come back next week. That's all that show is. There's nothing. They put LA Knight to cut a promo, Logan Paul isn't even in the building. That's what that show is. Bloodline heat, babyface backed in. That's all that show is, period. They got nothing for Cody," fumed Russo. [9:43 onwards]
