Roman Reigns is finally set to make an appearance on SmackDown this week. A lot has transpired in the time that The Tribal Chief has been away. His cousin Jimmy Uso, who was ousted from The Bloodline, has wriggled his way back in, Jey Uso holds the Tag Titles with Cody Rhodes, and Paul Heyman tried to rope in The Rock's daughter Ava into The Bloodline.
The Universal Champion will have his hands full when he returns. However, it is interesting that Paul Heyman was trying to recruit The Rock's daughter into The Bloodline on NXT this week. Her addition would not just give the faction its first female member but would also be beneficial for the 22-year-old's career.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that Ava's addition to the faction could have major storyline implications if WWE finalized a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. The Brahma Bull returned to the company a few weeks back but is yet to get involved with The Bloodline.
''The idea of her joining the Bloodline in some form could make sense both because she is considered part of the family, and also it could be used as a storyline if a Roman Reigns vs. Rock match does take place at WrestleMania in 2024,'' said Meltzer.

The Rock is open to a match at WrestleMania 40 against Roman Reigns
The Brahma Bull stated in an interview with Pat McAfee that there were plans for him to face Reigns at WrestleMania 39. Unfortunately, those plans were nixed, and Cody Rhodes went to face Reigns instead. However, he left the door open to a potential match at WrestleMania 40 next year.
Dave Meltzer had previously reported that a match between the two family members is a priority for the company. One of the reasons for Reigns adopting The Tribal Chief gimmick was to have a family feud leading to him facing off against The Rock.
