Stone Cold Steve Austin noted on his podcast show last week that he will not be in California this Sunday for the Wrestlemania 31 pay-per-view as he will be watching the show from his ranch in Texas.
Most of the people within the WWE have been surprised by Austin’s announcement of not being in person as he was supposed to arrive this weekend. PWInsider reports that they had some sort of a plan figured out for the Texas Rattlesnake at the grandest event of the year.
However, reports suggest that won’t be happening and there has been no answer as to why Austin has decided to snub the pay-per-view. It has become enough of a situation and a hot topic among the WWE staff this week.
Austin made a special appearance at last year’s Wrestlemania when he joined guest host Hulk Hogan and The Rock in an epic opening segment that saw three of the iconic superstars share the same ring for the first time ever.
