WWE Rumours: Jey Uso and Naomi to be out until Christmas

The Usos and Naomi
The Samoan family will return post-Christmas

According to Cagesideseats, former WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso and Naomi will be out of action until Christmas due to their ankle injuries. They are set to return on the post-Christmas Madison Square Garden show.

The Usos and Naomi have been off-screen on WWE television lately due to Jey and Naomi’s ankle injury. Both Naomi and Jey Uso have not wrestled since the November 22nd episodes of SmackDown and Main Event. The Usos recently appeared on Talking Smack and spoke about the rest of the tag team division and imploring Daniel Bryan to announce them as the #1 Contenders.

Despite their appearance, rumours have surfaced that the duo will not be appearing on the show until the post-Christmas edition. Jey Uso was last on SmackDown Live during the Tag Team Turmoil tournament when they faced off against The American Alpha. Later, Jey posted a video of him in a wheelchair on Instagram revealing his ankle injury. It is to be noted that Jey Uso has previously suffered from shoulder problems during 2014.

Similarly, Naomi was last seen in her match against Alexa Bliss on Main Event which she lost. Naomi has already missed a couple of months of action earlier this year before the WWE Draft. Her return as a face with a new look has garnered the attention of the fans in a positive way, and she was gaining momentum on the roster before her untimely injury.

Of the two, Naomi’s injury is said to less serious in nature. The duo is expected to return along with John Cena for the post-Christmas edition in Madison Square Garden. The Usos are expected to feud with The American Alpha on their return. As for Naomi, no plans have been finalised for her return despite her popularity with the fans.
