SummerSlam is the next big PPV WWE has to offer its viewers. SummerSlam is noted for its penchant for unexpected swerves that turn the world of WWE upside down. The infamous betrayal of Daniel Bryan by Triple H, which spelled the beginning of “The Authority”, happened at SummerSlam too.
WWE has just delivered the greatest WrestleMania it had to offer in years. The Raw that followed WrestleMania can also be cited as one of the best in recent memory. This has renewed the viewers interest in WWE. When we couple this fact along with SummerSlam’s legendary reputation for unexpected swerves, it is no shocker that SummerSlam’s tickets had sold out within a week.
According to PW Insider, the tickets for SummerSlam has already been sold out. But rumours suggest there are few more left. We have previously noted here that the tickets go on sale from April 2, 2016. It has also been noted that this year’s SummerSlam will be four hours long.
Though SummerSlam is four months away, expectations for the event are very high. With four hours of programming, WWE may possibly deliver on the expectations that has been put on the event. The swerves WWE have planned for SummerSlam are still murky. We may even get the Roman heel turn we are obviously waiting for.
On another update, Cagesideseats has noted that the actual attendance number for WrestleMania 32 is 97,769 only, as opposed to the the number WWE has reported – 101,763.
