Sami Zayn on another possible slammy win, wants to emulate Owen Hart

Will he be a two-time Slammy winner?

– Sami Zayn is somewhat of an enigma who possesses in ring abilities like no one. Zayn, who was known all around much before his WWE days as El Generico took NXT and WWE by storm when he arrived.

Zayn is a great wrestler with over the top moves and his rivalry with Kevin Owens who also has a similar background was a treat to watch. Zayn started the year by defending his NXT Championship against Neville. He lost the title after 62 days to Kevin Owens.

Zayn made a brilliant main roster debut after answering John Cena’s US Championship Open Challenge and came mighty close to winning the belt from Cena. Zayn showed the amount of talent he brings to the WWE during the match.

He was introduced by Bret Hart during his debut, but he is currently keen on following his late brother Owen Hart. Zayn won a Slammy Award in 2014 for being the best NXT Superstar and this year too he might win a Slammy following Owen’s footsteps by becoming a two-time winner. Sami has been nominated in the category for the best US Championship Open Challenge match.
