Sami Zayn to get attacked by 46-year-old superstar on WWE RAW? Exploring the likelihood 

Since winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40, Sami Zayn has been kept busy by constant challenges from Chad Gable. However, after Zayn beat Gable at Clash at the Castle, the Canadian star won't have to worry about him for a while.

But, this does not mean Zayn is free of pressure. As a matter of fact, on the upcoming episode of RAW, the former Bloodline member could be attacked by a 46-year-old star, and it could begin a new rivalry. The superstar who could attack Sami Zayn is Sheamus.

On the last episode of RAW, Sheamus and Bron Breakker expressed their desire to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship, after which the duo faced each other in a singles match to determine who would challenge Zayn. This match was won by the Irishman as Ludwig Kiaser interfered and him.

Breakker, who was infuriated by Kaiser's actions, is now set to face him on the upcoming episode of RAW. Hence, given the former NXT Champion's focus won't be on Sami Zayn in the upcoming episode, Sheamus can attack Zayn and take the opportunity to fight for the Intercontinental Championship.

Sheamus has been trying to win the IC Title for the past few years, as it is the only championship that he hasn't won in his career.

Sami Zayn recently revealed whether he was attacked by the Wyatt Sicks or not

Last week's episode of Monday Night RAW witnessed the return of Uncle Howdy along with his faction, Wyatt Sicks. Towards the end of RAW, the stable launched an attack on several members of the production team and even on talent. However, the only face that could be identified was Chad Gable's.

After the event, Sami Zayn revealed whether he was attacked by the Wyatt Sicks or not. In an interview with Sportsnet, Zayn confirmed he was not attacked by the faction. The Canadian said by the time the stable caused havoc backstage, he had already left the arena.

"Yeah, so, I actually didn’t even know that happened because I left the arena right after my thing was done. So, maybe five or ten minutes before all that stuff happened on Monday Night Raw, I had no idea and I left the arena and I didn’t look at the results of what happened or anything. Then, I get to my hotel and I tweet out the presale code for my comedy show and all of the replies from the fans are like, ‘Your co-workers have been killed, what are you doing tweeting out the comedy show?'" he said.

While Sami Zayn is safe for now, it will be interesting to see how long he remains safe given how The Wyatt Sicks acted last week. In the coming episodes of RAW, it will be worth observing whether Zayn crosses paths with the faction.
