Sami Zayn (birth name: Rami Sebei) is a Canadian pro wrestler performing for the WWE under the Raw brand as of January 2025. Zayn is also known by his former ring name, El Generico, under which he worked at Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and other organizations. In 2010 and 2011, he became the only wrestler to win both the Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title and the Battle of Los Angeles, the annual tournaments of PWG.
After signing with the WWE in 2013, Zayn won the NXT Championship the following year and was subsequently named the NXT Superstar of the Year. Since his promotion to the main roster, the "Underdog From The Underground" has become a four-time Intercontinental Champion, WWE Raw Tag Team Champion, and WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion.
