In yet another example of how social media can be used to hype up wrestling matches, Sammy Guevara sent a message out to Dustin Rhodes ahead of their six-man tag on next week's AEW Dynamite. And Rhodes didn't take too kindly to it.
Guevara used the latest slang term on the internet "Ok Boomer" to deride Rhodes, in reference to his old age. Rhodes responded and said, "I'm a #GenX you idiot child! And you will need more than medication when I'm done with you. #SpanishChild #NotAGod."
For those unaware of what "Ok Boomer" means, Mark C. Perna has an elaborate definition. It is "a verbal eye-roll that expresses derision, frustration and a subversive compliance."

The meaning goes deeper, with a reference to the Baby Boomer generation that was born in the 1950s, but Dustin Rhodes is far from being that old. That probably explains his anger at the insult.
While Cody Rhodes may have his hands full with BBB attacking him on last week's AEW Dynamite, Dustin is looking to get his hands on Guevara. The two have had their run-ins lately as The Inner Circle continue their war against The Elite.
Will this lead to a TV match with Dustin Rhodes taking on Sammy Guevara in the weeks to come? It's possible, as AEW is looking to invest more in people like Guevara and get them over with the mainstream audience.
