Damien Sandow fans may soon be able to see their favorite pro wrestler back on television, as he might be set for a debut on TNA’s Impact Wrestling.
On Wednesday, a link from the TNA website led to a post on Rolling Stone’s site, which described a promo video for a wrestler appearing on this week’s TNA programming. The simple video includes large print reading, “He’s doing things his way,” and the “Hallelujah Chorus” – a song Sandow once used as entrance music – playing in the background.
As if that weren’t enough to tip their hand, a related story attached to the page has a picture of the former WWE tag team champion. Sandow, who has been using the name Aron Stevens, also reacted to the post on Twitter.
Also a former Money in the Bank winner, Sandow was released along with several other superstars in May, including Wade Barrett, Zeb Colter and El Torito.
TNA Impact Wrestling airs at 8 p.m. on Thursdays on the Pop cable channel.
