WWE RAW tonight will take us one step closer to SummerSlam 2024, but only title matches have been added to the card till now. The one non-title match that fans absolutely want for The Biggest Party of the Summer is CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre. Unfortunately, The Scottish Warrior remains suspended after refusing to apologize to the referees on the previous episode of RAW, as demanded by General Manager Adam Pearce.

Pearce's only condition for making CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre official for SummerSlam 2024 was McIntyre's apology. Not only did McIntyre refuse to apologize, but he also attacked the referees and snapped at Adam Pearce. Seth Rollins eventually ran out to the ring to save Pearce from Drew McIntyre.

On tonight's episode, CM Punk could return to WWE RAW to address the situation only to get ambushed by Drew McIntyre. To save the day, Seth Rollins could once again come out to the arena and control the situation. Given that The Visionary has handled a frustrated and dangerous Drew McIntyre on two consecutive episodes of WWE RAW, Adam Pearce could decide to make CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre official with Seth Rollins as the special referee. This way, the match happens but none of WWE's referees are put in harm's way.

Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.

Having The Visionary as the special referee can be more beneficial for Drew McIntyre. Seth Rollins isn't exactly CM Punk's best friend right now. The Voice of the Voiceless cost Rollins the chance to win back the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank, and The Visionary is bitter about it.

Therefore, a special referee who wants to avenge himself against Punk might work in Drew McIntyre's favor!

Damian Priest will give Seth Rollins another shot at the title on WWE RAW

The stipulation for Seth Rollins vs. Damian Priest at Money in the Bank was that if the former won, Priest would leave The Judgment Day, but if the latter won, Rollins wouldn't challenge for the title as long as Priest is champion. At Money in the Bank, The Scottish Warrior cashed-in the MITB contract, turning the title match into a Triple Threat.

When CM Punk interfered in the match, it allowed Damian Priest the time to recover while Punk was assaulting Drew McIntyre. The Archer of Infamy pinned McIntyre and walked away with the victory.

Seth Rollins and CM Punk had a brief face-off after the match, but the actual confrontation went down on WWE RAW. The Visionary repeated Punk's words, reminding him that "Actions have consequences". On the other hand, Damian Priest was kind enough to acknowledge what went down at Money in the Bank and let Rollins know that they could toss the stipulation away.

If Priest defeats Gunther at SummerSlam 2024, he might give Seth Rollins another shot at the title.
