The WWE Universe has been speculating on Seth Rollins’ opponent for WrestleMania 40 for some time now. Some believe the Visionary will collide with a certain Second City Saint on the Grandest Stage of Them All. But what if WWE pulls off a huge surprise by giving fans another dream match?
It is possible that Seth Rollins could face Will Ospreay at WrestleMania 40. According to reports, the Aerial Assassin is very much on WWE’s radar as he nears free agency. Ospreay himself told Metro that he’d listen to the offer after he becomes a free agent in 2024.
"I mean, we have spoke about it [signing with WWE] more. I’m now open to the idea of stretching myself out that little bit more. As age has become more apparent to me and my body is hurting more and more, I’m open to all avenues. I’ve had a lot of talks with my friends about this, and I have spoke to the missus... It [moving to the States]’s on the table, that’s all I can really say. That means I am open to all options going forward," Ospreay said.
Ospreay has publicly stated his openness to facing Seth Rollins in a huge dream match. Here's the 30-year-old Englishman talking to Chris Van Vliet in regards to a potential match against the RAW superstar:

The pair had real-life heat in the past, which stemmed from comments the current World Heavyweight Champion made regarding the current IWGP British Heavyweight Champion on social media.
Does Seth Rollins still have heat with Will Ospreay?
Seth Rollins and Will Ospreay had a banter on social media four years ago. The Architect had declared himself “best in the world” in a social media post. Things got heated after Ospreay entered the conversation.
Rollins ended up apologizing for his comments. The pair have since squashed their beef, and that was pretty much reflected when the Aerial Assassin said he’d like to face the Monday Night Messiah inside the squared circle.
It remains to be seen if the WWE Universe will get this dream match at WrestleMania 40.
