Seth Rollins made his long-awaited return to WWE RAW this week and immediately took revenge on Bronson Reed. Although the feud between both men has just begun, The Visionary may also be eyeing another superstar to target next.
Seth Rollins had an eventful 2024 by far. He got involved in The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes' WrestleMania XL storyline, lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre, got injured after helping Cody finish his story, got involved in CM Punk and Drew's heated rivalry, and was sidelined with another injury after Bronson Reed attacked him. On this week's WWE RAW, The Visionary finally returned to television and has already set his sights on Reed. Interestingly, this may change after the 2024 Survivor Series when he targets The American Nightmare.
Cody has been continuously dealing with The Bloodline on SmackDown, only this time, the faction is led by Solo Sikoa with a completely different lineup. Roman Reigns returned to WWE at the 2024 SummerSlam and formed an unexpected alliance with Rhodes on the Friday brand a few weeks ago. While fans may be excited about the new duo, this may be something that Rollins will not appreciate.
As mentioned, Rollins helped Rhodes when the latter feuded with The Bloodline on the road to WrestleMania XL. Moreover, Seth is a longtime rival of Roman, and a personal one at that due to their time as The Shield.
If the rumors are right that the 2024 Survivor Series will see Roman and Cody team up once more against The Bloodline, this could frustrate The Visionary further. Seth watching his supposed friend and rival team up on SmackDown could drive him to attack Rhodes.
Does Cody Rhodes want to wrestle Seth Rollins again after teaming up at WrestleMania XL?
It's no secret that Cody and Seth weren't always the best of friends, but uniting against The Bloodline resulted in both men forming a special bond. Despite this, the Undisputed WWE Champion is still interested in facing Rollins, with a special stipulation in place.
While talking with Kenny McIntosh of Inside the Ropes last month, Cody said he wants to face Seth Rollins again but this time around, in a 60-minute Iron Man match. However, Rhodes added that he's not sure if fans are interested in seeing them lock horns again after already fighting three times.
It will be interesting to see what will happen next with Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in WWE.
