We are just three days away from WWE Money in the Bank 2024. With this being one of the year's biggest WWE events, fans eagerly await the spectacle. The company has announced five matches for the event.
Aside from that, the Triple H-led creative team could have some big surprises for Saturday. This could be done to add an element of shock to the spectacle and generate buzz.
The following piece will explore four such potential surprises that could transpire at WWE Money in the Bank 2024:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#4. Finn Balor betrays Damian Priest
Rumors of Finn Balor betraying Damian Priest have been floating around on social media for the last couple of months. However, nothing has come of it yet. That said, things may finally change at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, as The Prince could turn on The Archer of Infamy.
Since becoming World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest has constantly asserted that he doesn't need the help of The Judgment Day. Ahead of his title defense against Seth Rollins in Canada this weekend, the 41-year-old asked Finn Balor to refrain from interfering in his match during the recent episode of RAW.
Notably, The Demon confronted Damian Priest this past Monday and bluntly stated that the latter had changed since becoming World Heavyweight Champion. Things may finally boil over this weekend, as Balor could make his presence felt during Priest's title match and cost the latter the World Title.
#3. Drew McIntyre becomes Mr. MITB and dethrones Damian Priest
Drew McIntyre is reportedly the favorite to become the 2024 Mr. Money in the Bank. If he wins the Ladder Match, the RAW Superstar could walk out of Canada as the new World Heavyweight Champion.
For those unaware, Drew has vowed to leave Toronto as the new World Heavyweight Champion. The Scottish Psychopath recently declared that he will cash in his MITB briefcase on the same night if he wins the Men's Ladder Match.
The creative team could have Seth Rollins and Damian Priest go to war, decimating each other in their match on Saturday. While Priest is likely to retain the title, he may not walk out of the arena with the gold on his shoulders.
Drew could make his presence felt following Priest's match and successfully cash in his briefcase on a battered champion.
#2. McIntyre replaces Seth Rollins
If Drew McIntyre fails to win the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, he may look for another way to win the World Title.
Tired and frustrated with another failure, an irate McIntyre could unleash his fury on Seth Rollins backstage. The Scottish Psychopath could take out The Visionary right before his match against Damian Priest, only to replace The Architect in the World Title match.
Drew could then end The Archer of Infamy's reign with the help of Finn Balor.
#1. Roman Reigns returns at WWE Money in the Bank 2024
Cody Rhodes will team up with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to take on The Bloodline in a six-man tag match at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. However, the fourth member of the Solo Sikoa-led The Bloodline is likely to interfere in the match.
However, the heel faction's numerical advantage could be nullified by a returning Roman Reigns. Recent rumors have suggested that The Tribal Chief could return at the upcoming spectacle in Canada.
The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion could make a shocking return during the match to help the babyface trio even the odds against The Bloodline.
