WWE is set to have a very busy weekend. Triple H will be leading RAW and SmackDown for Money in the Bank on Saturday. Afterward, Shawn Michaels' NXT will host Heatwave on Sunday.

Shawn Michaels and the developmental brand have been doing a lot of interesting things as of late. Perhaps the most notable move is WWE working with TNA Wrestling through NXT. This includes the extremely popular Joe Hendry.

The Heartbreak Kid recently revealed that he liked Joe Hendry a great deal. As a result, he may help Joe get a massive moment, help strengthen the relationship between the companies, and potentially provide the company with another viral moment. Shawn could get Hendry an appearance at Money in the Bank 2024.

While Triple H runs the main roster, he and Shawn are long-time best friends and Michaels most notably be providing Triple H with decent suggestions. He could put in the good word for Joe knowing this will get more eyes on the talented star, further establish the relationship with TNA Wrestling as mutually beneficial, and make for a cool moment.

That cool moment could be something as small as a backstage vignette. Joe Hendry interacting with someone such as R-Truth or Otis would go extremely viral. Alternatively, WWE could go even further and have him come out to the live crowd. Regardless, it could happen and it would be very entertaining.

Shawn Michaels could tease a Joe Hendry vs. NXT rivalry at WWE NXT Heatwave

While TNA Wrestling's Joe Hendry working with WWE's main roster event would strengthen the relationship between the two companies a lot, it may be too much too soon in that regard. Instead, a different yet equally interesting approach could be taken.

Joe could appear on NXT Heatwave, which would be good for the relationship between the two companies but could also lead to a major event. Many fans have thought a TNA Wrestling vs. NXT rivalry could be on the horizon with the end goal being a Worlds Collide-esque event.

If that is the goal, Hendry could kickstart it at NXT Heatwave. The first and last time he appeared on NXT saw Joe frustrated and lashing out at Shawn Michaels. If he invades Heatwave, that story can continue.

This time, however, things could be even more serious and intense. Joe Hendry, perhaps with other TNA Wrestling stars, could crash the show or even attack those involved in the Fatal Four-Way main event match. Regardless of which path the company may take, Joe should make an appearance of some kind this weekend to help the TNA-WWE relationship grow.
