WWE Superstar Sheamus fulfilled an eight year old child’s wish by meeting him. It was arranged by the popular organization Make-A-Wish Foundation. Sheamus took to Twitter to tweet a picture of him standing alongside the boy.
He revealed that the boy’s name was Racquez Johnson. Many WWE superstars in the past have contributed to this noble cause with John cena holding the record for fulfilling the most number of wishes (over 450 wishes).
Make-A-wish Foundation is the world’s largest wish granting organization and the whole inspiration behind their work was the story of a 7 year old boy named Christopher James Greicius who died immediately after getting his wish fulfilled. The child was suffering from leukemia and was getting treated for it.
His desire was to become a police officer, and he got to spend an entire day as one, rode in a police helicopter, received a custom-tailored police uniform, and was sworn in as the first honorary DPS patrolman in state history.
In order to qualify for a wish, the child’s age should be between 2 and 18 at the time of referral and the ultimate decision regarding the child’s eligibility will be decided by his/her physician. It was a nice gesture by the Celtic warrior to have taken time off his busy schedule and spend some memorable moments with the boy.
He will be taking part in the Money In the Bank ladder match with the winner being crowned as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion since the title is vacant currently.
