#2 Sheamus renews his rivalary with Drew McIntyre on RAW
Sheamus and Drew McIntyre have had many matches over the past year. The latest bout saw Sheamus become the number one contender for the U.S. Championship after defeating McIntyre on the September 6 episode of RAW.
McIntyre is currently on the hunt for Big E's WWE Championship, and if he dethrones the champion, Sheamus could challenge McIntyre for the WWE Championship. The feud, if renewed, will have more meaning when the title is on the line.

#1 Sheamus goes after Roman Reign's Universal Championship as a babyface on SmackDown
Roman Reigns is the biggest superstar on the current WWE roster. The Tribal Chief recently overcame The Demon - Finn Balor at Extreme Rules and is now set for a showdown with Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel.
To make a massive statement after an injury layoff, a superstar should go after the biggest guy on the roster. For Sheamus, it has to be Reigns.
The two have been in an epic battle in the past when Roman won the World Heavyweight Championship from Sheamus way back in 2015.
WWE could make Sheamus return to SmackDown as a babyface and feud with the mighty Tribal Chief. He could challenge for the Universal title if Reigns is still champion. This rivalry would undoubtedly be fascinating for the WWE Universe if given shape.
