With Survivor Series in full swing, WWE has yet again managed to surprise us with their twists and turns. The traditional five-on-five, brand vs. brand match was no different. A spot infested mega match, which featured and elbow drop from the Commissioner of SmackDown Live, saw James Ellsworth interfering to aid in eliminating Braun Strowman and Owens beating the crap out of Styles with the List of Jericho.
Despite all the crazy stuff that surfaced at the Air Canada Centre, the moment which stood out by a substantial margin was the reunion of the Shield. The Hounds of Justice reunited after two long years, to take out The Phenomenal One with their signature Triple Powerbomb.
Earlier in the match, an altercation between Styles and The Lunatic Fringe resulted in Ambrose being eliminated by Braun Strowman. This did not go down well with The Lunatic Fringe, as he came out later during the match and attacked Styles from behind. He followed Styles out of the ring and continue the brutal beat down on Styles.

When the guards finally came to the rescue of The Phenomenal One, Rollin and Reigns, reunited with their brother in arms, to take out the security. The stage was set, and Rollins and Ambrose, along with Reigns, put Styles through an announcer’s table with a Triple Powerbomb.
While this might be a one-time thing, the reunion of the Sheild was a major highlight in an otherwise well-rounded match. This can lead to a heel turn for Dean Ambrose and set up his match with Styles at TLC next month. Furthermore, it could lead to a Club vs. Shield dynamic also.
