According to the original plans, WWE wouldn’t be re-visiting any major feuds with former members of The Shield until later this year or possibly next year, with there being rumours of the trio working together at WrestleMania 32 in some capacity but as seen on WWE TV lately, those plans changed.
As things stand, the plans currently indicate that the WWE may at least tease a reunion of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at Payback on Sunday in the Fatal Four Way match with Randy Orton.
There are some concerns about “pulling the trigger” on this because all three have finally gotten their own identity and putting them back together could be booking backwards. However, it’s obviously not out of the realm of possibilities.
