Shinsuke Nakamura's last victory this year came on the February 12 episode of Monday Night RAW, where he defeated Sami Zayn. Following that, Nakamura has been involved in five broadcasted matches and suffered losses in each of them. Prior to the win, Nakamura lost two matches against Cody Rhodes this year. Some of the other superstars who defeated him were Jey Uso, Sheamus, Ilja Dragunov, and Sami Zayn.

Considering the consecutive losses, one may wonder if Shinsuke Nakamura wants to continue working with WWE. His time with the Stamford-based promotion commenced in 2016, and he is yet to win a World Title in the company.

It's possible he could have a better chance at securing a World Title in another promotion, however, Nakamura recently spoke with MMA reporter, Aaron Bronsteter, and confirmed that he wanted to continue working with WWE.

The King of Strong Style went on to explain that although he brought his Japanese style of wrestling to WWE, he was yet to accomplish everything he wanted to in the global juggernaut. Hence, he is not about to bid farewell to the promotion anytime soon.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"Oh, yeah. So I've been wrestling over eight years right now. So I want to keep wrestling in WWE. Also, I give the fans more like a dream. So that's what I want to do. So I want to show my passion. So also I brought the Japanese style to WWE, but still I think I've not accomplished. So still I'm challenging, keep challenging," said Nakamura.

Shinsuke Nakamura is making appearances outside WWE

Shinsuke Nakamura was an MMA fighter before becoming a full-time pro wrestler. He has significant influence in the industry and was recently present at UFC 303 in Tsuruya Rei's corner.

Before the event, Nakamura explained that he continues to be passionate about MMA . The wrestling veteran also noted that he knew the 22-year-old upcoming star's father from his days in MMA and that he was honored to be at Rei's corner.

"I am excited to be a part of the massive UFC 303 event this weekend. It is an honor to be in Tsuruya Rei's corner. MMA is still a huge passion of mine and to be a part of Rei's UFC debut is a great moment," said Nakamura. [H/T: ESPN]
