Among the guys WWE is interested in bringing over from the other promotions into the WWE, one of the foremost names is longtime NJPW star Shinsuke Nakamura, whose contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling is up in January confirm reports.
Nakamura has been the staple of NJPW for a decade, and is one of the biggest stars the promotion has had on its roster. However, he is also in his mid-thirties, which has always been an issue in the WWE, who are known to be scouting only young guys who can carry the WWE brand into the future.
However, this year has seen the signings of Samoa Joe and James Storm, both former TNA stars, who are older than Nakamura. Also, Nakamura has a good look, standing at 6’2 and is charismatic, while also being able to speak English.
Nakamura, if sources are to be believed, also has been wanting to make a mark in the United States of America. His work has many fans across the ocean, among big names such as Jim Ross & Daniel Bryan, to name a few.
Nakamura is known for his stiff wrestling style and the flamboyance his character displays, in and out of the ring.
