Gunther sits on top of the WWE as World Heavyweight Champion, and the Ring General has been untouchable this year. His reign as Intercontinental Champion is one for the record books, and it will take a monster to get the world title off him.

They don't get any more monstrous than Brock Lesnar, who could be a future challenger for the Austrian heavyweight. The former 10-time WWE Champion has been off TV since SummerSlam 2023 after losing to Cody Rhodes.

According to Chief Content Officer Triple H, Brock Lesnar, 47, hasn't retired but is enjoying his downtime in Canada. The Game said the company would be open to working with him if the former UFC Champion planned to return.

Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.

Lesnar has been implied to have been mentioned as an unnamed star in the ongoing investigation into Vince McMahon and alleged sexual assault and trafficking. This doesn't look like it is preventing him from returning, given HHH's comments.

The Beast Incarnate could make a shocking return shortly and challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. That could be the feast the WWE Universe is potentially served at WrestleMania 41.

Lesnar could either return at the Royal Rumble and win it for the third time in his career. He can target the Ring General, whom he has not faced in his career.

Brock Lesnar is Gunther's 'final boss,' the WWE World Heavyweight Champion is open to a match

Brock Lesnar versus Gunther was in the works for WrestleMania XL earlier this year. The Beast didn't appear amid the aforementioned investigation, which had intensified around when the talk of them colliding took place.

The 37-year-old has openly spoken about his willingness to work with Lesnar. He views The Next Big Thing as his Final Boss and alluded to their potential match earlier this year.

"Brock, for a long time, was the final boss of the whole company. So I always saw myself in my future to be in a similar position to him, and to be that you've got to get in the ring with that guy," he said. [The Daily Mail]

Gunther has become arguably the biggest heel on WWE RAW amid his reign as world champion. He's improved tenfold on the microphone while producing stellar matches, including against Damian Priest and Randy Orton.

Brock Lesnar has a glowing resume of world title matches at Mania, and he could add to that list next April. He was a babyface for a period up until he turned on Cody Rhodes last year to start a feud with The American Nightmare.
