#7. Goldust
We'll be the first ones to admit it: covering yourself in gold and black body paint and wearing feather boas doesn't work for everyone.
But one man it DOES work for is the legendary Dustin Runnels when he was playing the Goldust character. In its original inception, the Goldust costume and body paint were meant to be reminiscent of the Academy Awards Oscar statuette, WWE's very own androgynous Oscar.
Over the years, his look has evolved, adding more black to the gold and emulating pop culture icons such as Darth Maul. Goldust also has fabulous entrance attire, featuring magnificent feathered and sequin encrusted robes which flow like water about his svelte, yet powerful body.
These days, Dustin Runnels works for the AEW promotion and no longer plays the Goldust character. However, we can always look back on his long and storied career, and never, ever forget the name of...long inhale...Goldust.
Fun fact is that even when Runnels was in the WCW, he played some questionable gimmicks that mandated even more questionable attires.
