The Miz defended his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania against Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. The match opened WrestleMania 34's main show and saw The Miz send Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas to the back on the way to the ring which could be a hint that The Miz could be set to turn face.
Miz and Maryse welcomed their daughter Monroe Sky a week early ahead of this year's WrestleMania, which allowed Miz to then join the commentary team on Monday Night Raw, where he talked about how he wanted to become a role model for his daughter.
There have been rumors that Miz could be using the birth of his daughter as something to catapult him into a place where he can turn babyface. The fact that the Intercontinental Champion walked into a match knowing that the odds were stacked against him without his Miztourage, is not the way a usual heel would react in this kind of match.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
With Seth Rollins as the Champion now, it will be interesting to see if The Miz will turn into the star who is chasing the title as a face in the near future.
Of course, Miz was the one who was pinned to lose his Championship so he could easily continue to be the heel that he always has been, especially since he is one of the best heels in WWE right now.
It is also worth noting that Miz's new show Miz and Mrs debuts in the coming months and as a face, it seems that Miz's show could be much more appealing.
The WWE Universe will see another side to Miz as part of the show when he is supporting his wife and daughter, so it seems that this face turn could be something that has been long overdue and in the pipeline for a number of months.
