Brock Lesnar's WWE deal is reported to expire following his match against Roman Reigns at next month's WrestleMania event, but it seems that WWE is hoping that the current Universal Champion will sign a new contract.
If Brock does decide to leave the company and head back to UFC, then where does this leave his advocate Paul Heyman? It appears that Lesnar's current WWE deal is perfect for Heyman, who has been able to work a much lighter schedule with the company over the past few years, so he can have more time at home with his family and less time on the road.
The original plan was seeming to put Heyman with Ronda Rousey throughout her feud with Stephanie McMahon since it is said to be a storyline that could mimic the stand out feud between Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin all those years ago.
Heyman's promo's work well for Brock as a heel, but because Ronda is the babyface of her feud with Stephanie and Triple H, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to give her an advocate like Heyman, whose promos have become something that many fans look forward to on a regular basis.

Dave Meltzer even mentioned on The Wrestling Observer that he didn't think that Heyman would be a good fit for this storyline moving forward, which leaves his future with the company somewhat up in the air if Brock does leave.
Heyman won't want to be put with another star like he was when Lesnar left last time and he became the advocate for Curtis Axel, Ryback, and Cesaro, since this would mean that he would need to be on the road much more than he currently is and would take time away from him being with his family.
Heyman is one of the best promo deliverers in WWE right now and it's hard to see the company not searching for a way to keep him contracted after Lesnar leaves. Of course, Brock and Heyman are really close so WWE could decide to wait and see if Lesnar wants to return to the company after a break and then bring the duo back together once again.
It would be hard for the WWE Universe to see Heyman as the advocate for anyone but 'The Beast' in future, so anyone who Heyman works with next would have to be someone that the company rates highly.
