AJ Styles is by far the best wrestler in the WWE and it's only fair that he holds the WWE Championship belt aloft. The former NJPW star has had a dream run in the WWE this year and also got his dream match against Shinsuke Nakamura, at WrestleMania 34, earlier this year.

Styles hasn't wrestled since the May 22nd edition of SmackDown, in a dark match, and is rumoured to not wrestle in a few more Live events this month.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
This is probably a precautionary measure by the WWE to keep their main man fresh, because unlike the other champ on RAW, Styles wrestles week in, week out.
And at 40 years of age, he deserves a rest!
