New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#1 Randy Orton wants to go heel soon
Randy Orton is one of the most successful superstars of all time. Having held the top prize in WWE on thirteen different occasions, with fifteen years of experience under his belt, he's had a career that few can really dream of when they start out in the business.
However, Orton does not seem to be too content in his current role, right now. He was a guest on the Edge and Christian Pod of Awesomeness, where he revealed that he was sick of being a good guy.
This is what Randy Orton had to say about his current role, and how much he dislikes it:
...I love it and I'm gonna use that, hopefully sooner than later when I turn heel again because I'm sick of this babyface thing, that's for sure
Orton does seem to be uncomfortable as a babyface and excelled in his role as a heel, with the Wyatt Family. We hope that he has another heel run in the company soon
#2 Kurt Angle seems confident he will wrestle again
We haven't seen Kurt Angle wrestle in a WWE ring, in over a decade. While his future as anything more than an on-screen Authority figure seems uncertain for now, we understand that he feels confident that he will wrestle once more.
In an interview with Fox Sports Australia, he expressed confidence that he will be entering the ring once again, very soon. Angle did admit that it wasn't all up to him:
“I would say I will most likely wrestle. I have not taken a physical yet. I’m basically waiting on the boss. It’s up to Vince McMahon.
While the story about Kurt Angle's illegitimate son hasn't really paid big dividends yet, one assumes that it's going to lead to Angle's big in-ring return. Imagine how excited crowds will be if it happens:
I would imagine I will. I’d imagine the storyline is going to go somewhere with Jason Jordan, so I’m just being patient and enjoying the general manager job.
Angle can still go at a very high level, as we've seen from his series of matches against Cody Rhodes. Let's wait and watch how this particular storyline pans out on RAW, over the coming months.
#3 Triple H's big return date announced
It seems like we haven't seen Triple H, the character, on WWE television, in a very long time. We did see him at the finals of the Mae Young Classic, but that's about it. Here's some good news for fans: you can see him at the WWE Live Event in Lisbon, Portugal on November 6th.
The show will be a SmackDown Live event, and while Triple H won't be wrestling at the show, he will still be an integral part of the proceedings.
Here is the official announcement:
The King of Kings is making a special appearance at the WWE Live Event at Lisbon's Campo Pequeno, which is presented by WWE 2K18 The Video Game. And as the WWE Universe well knows, when Triple H shows up, an already exciting night of sports-entertainment action is guaranteed to become even more unforgettable.
Portugal, it's time to play the game!
#4 Former Bullet Club member makes his NXT debut
Adam Cole is leading a villainous faction on NXT known simply as The Undisputed Era, and they have come to odds with the deranged stable known as SAnitY over the past few weeks. This tension would lead to a match between Eric Young and Adam Cole, this week.
Adam Cole wrestled as a heel throughout the match, and with the help of his two ROH buddies, picked up the big win. It is clear that WWE has big plans for the talented Mr Cole, and the sky is the limit for the man.
Eric Young was the perfect opponent, considering that much like Young, he is another man who made his name outside WWE before he came to NXT.
#5 Michael Cole will miss RAW
If Jim Ross is the voice of the Attitude Era, Michael Cole is the voice of modern day WWE and is an indispensable part of sports entertainment. He has been employed by the company for over twenty years now and will be missing RAW for the second time in this duration.
According to WWE, he will be attending his son's wedding and therefore, he will not be present for the show. Instead, it will be SmackDown Live play-by-play announcer, Tom Phillips, who will handle play-by-play commentary duties.
Congratulations to Michael Cole and his son on this special occasion. We're certain that Phillips will do a great job until Michael Cole returns.
#6 Neville hates his new t-shirt design
This week on RAW, we saw a perfectly executed double turn. Neville turned face while Enzo Amore went heel, in the main event segment of the show.
It should have been a great day for the King of The Cruiserweights. Sadly, it wasn't. Neville went on Twitter and expressed his displeasure with regard to his new t-shirt design. He felt that it was not on the Neville Level, a phrase that is synonymous with him.
One glance at the design and we have to agree. It really is quite underwhelming. Let's hope that WWE does not take disciplinary action and instead makes a better-looking t-shirt for the legend. Fans love the Neville character, and would love to pick it up!
#7 Stone Cold Steve Austin is officially retired
Ever since he retired from the sports entertainment world in 2003, fans have expected Stone Cold Steve Austin to have another WWE run. However, in an interview with Wrestling Inc., Austin clarified that he was done for good:
You gotta realize, I've been gone 14 years. You gotta get over something at some point and that's way long enough for me to get over it.
I look back with fond memories and I still watch to this day because I love the business and I like the guys and girls to be doing good at it and have a way to make a living for their family. But I'm done, I'm good.
Best of luck, Mr Austin and thank you for all the memories. We will see you again, next week. That's you, dear reader, and not the Texas Rattlesnake.
