#3: The Fiend vs. Kevin Owens becomes too brutal and ends via referee stoppage to set up a rematch at WWE Hell in a Cell
Perhaps WWE SmackDown won't be the end of Kevin Owens and The Fiend's feud. A simple brand-to-brand exhibition match may not be the perfect way to encapsulate their recent rivalry. As many fans have mentioned on social media, WWE Hell in a Cell could be the perfect showcase for Owens and Fiend's feud.
Last year, the referee stoppage finish occurred during The Fiend vs. Seth Rollins inside WWE's hellacious cell structure. So to make sure that the same doesn't happen in 2020, WWE could use the aforementioned finish for this week's SmackDown, only to set up Owens and The Fiend's rematch inside the cell structure, which would end in a clean fashion.
As a whole, this idea could be the perfect way to redeem The Fiend's reputation when it comes to matches that occur inside the Devil's Playground. WWE SmackDown's upcoming episode might be the beginning of the end for Kevin Owens as a babyface. The consequences of their feud will most probably result in Owens being "changed" for good.
