WWE NXT has some major shows coming up. The developmental brand is set to have major events in Chicago and St. Louis to kick off its move to the CW Network in October.
Several things for the Chicago show (October 1) have been announced well in advance. However, last night, the company announced blockbuster news for the October 8 edition, which will take place in St. Louis.
The Viper Randy Orton is set to wrestle in an NXT ring for the first time in over a decade. His opponent is one of the best and brightest in the world, the 20-year-old Je'Von Evans. Evans is blessed with incredible athletic abilities.
Now that The Apex Predator will be clashing with an up-and-coming star, how will things go? Will Randy Orton hit a beautiful RKO out of nowhere? Could Je'Von pull off the ultimate upset? This article will look at several ways this impending bout will end.

Below are four possible finishes to Randy Orton vs. Je'Von Evans on WWE NXT:
#4. An RKO out of nowhere could seal the deal
Randy Orton is a veteran of WWE and pro wrestling. He started his main roster career back in 2002. Just two years later, the erstwhile Legend Killer defeated Chris Benoit and became the World Heavyweight Champion.
Over the next 20-plus years, The Viper has had a Hall of Fame-worthy career. He's a 14-time WWE World Champion, primarily thanks to the dreaded RKO.
During his match with Je'Von Evans on NXT in St. Louis, The Apex Predator could hit one of the most magnificent RKOs in history. From there, Orton will pin and win.
#3. Je'Von Evans could shock the world and pin Randy Orton
It would be foolish for Randy Orton and fans to discount Je'Von Evans, but it may be difficult not to. As noted, he is just 20 years old, which puts him in the rookie category compared to a veteran like The Viper.
Still, Je'Von may be inexperienced, but he's an incredible wrestler. He has a boatload of charisma and athleticism that few can match. Beyond that, he has great psychology and can truly deliver in the ring. He even co-headlined an NXT event with Ethan Page, Trick Williams, and Shawn Spears just months after his debut.
There is a chance that the young star could shock the world and defeat Randy Orton on NXT next month. If he hits his own variation of the cutter, The Viper could be caught off guard and quickly pinned. This would be the biggest upset in the developmental brand's history, and it would be surreal to witness.
#2. A-Town Down Under could interrupt and attack The Viper
A-Town Down Under is one of the most hated tag teams in the Stamford-based promotion. The duo is comprised of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. Despite their annoying personalities, they are fantastic wrestlers and former WWE Tag Team Champions.
Grayson Waller and Austin Theory have had issues with Randy Orton in the past. When they worked with Logan Paul, Orton and Kevin Owens regularly took them out. Even on WWE SmackDown last week, the two stars were defeated by R-KO.
Hence, they may hold a grudge and appear on NXT to exact revenge. A-Town Down Under could show up and interrupt the bout by attacking The Viper. With Owens not around, the former World Heavyweight Champion could be easy pickings. This would result in a DQ win for Orton, albeit an unsatisfying one.
#1. The two could pin each other at the same time on WWE NXT
The most interesting outcome that would elevate Je'Von Evans in the eyes of fans without being too unrealistic may be a draw. It would still be shocking, but not as crazy as a fluke win for Evans.
While this could be done in the form of a double countout or double disqualification, both of those would be somewhat lackluster and may leave the WWE Universe disappointed.
Instead, Je'Von Evans and Randy Orton could hit some incredible moves on each other simultaneously and pin each other at the same time. This would result in a draw and potentially a post-match handshake that would fully elevate Je'Von while also keeping The Viper strong.
