#3 SmackDown to feature the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the go-home show before WrestleMania
The final episode of SmackDown before WrestleMania 37 will host the annual WWE Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The prestigious tournament usually happens at WrestleMania, but WWE decided to move it to the Blue brand this year. WWE official Adam Pearce also announced the names of twenty-two superstars who will compete in the Battle Royal.
Several RAW and SmackDown Superstars, including Cedric Alexander, Jey Uso, Ricochet, and Murphy, will compete in the tournament. According to WWE, the Battle Royal is a free-for-all. Thus, there’s a chance that we will see someone like Aleister Black make a return for the match. The Battle Royal will start with all the superstars inside the ring.
The competitors will then have to eliminate others over the top rope until the last man is left standing inside the ring. This could be a good opportunity for underused WWE Superstars to showcase their potential on SmackDown. It will be interesting to see who will emerge victorious and how it will impact their run in WWE.
