As a lifelong fan of professional wrestling, Snoop Dogg has appeared in three WrestleMania events, WrestleMania XXIV (2008), WrestleMania 32 (2016), and WrestleMania 39 (2023) as of April 2024. However, he has not participated in any scheduled match at the "The Showcase of the Immortals" except WrestleMania 39.

During that event, Snoop Dogg announced an unplanned match between The Miz and Shane McMahon. As McMahon sustained a quad injury while performing, Snoop Dogg announced himself as the opponent of The Miz to finish the incomplete match. He started with some punches on the face of The Miz and later dropped a "Snoop Elbow", after throwing away his glasses. This move was also called the Snoop version of The Rock's People's Elbow.
