Paul Heyman played a pivotal role in Roman Reigns’ recent victory against Solo Sikoa’s crew in the WarGames match at Survivor Series. The Wiseman convinced CM Punk to join the OG Bloodline when everyone on the WWE roster had refused to help The OTC.
Interestingly, the Hall of Famer could be an even bigger player at RAW’s Netflix debut. Here are four things he can do on January 6, 2025, which can send shockwaves across WWE.
#4. Paul Heyman could betray Roman Reigns
The Wiseman is very loyal and dedicated to serving his Tribal Chief. However, this dedication wasn't two-way, as Paul Heyman couldn’t contact Roman Reigns after WrestleMania XL when Solo Sikoa was building his empire. Moreover, The OTC didn’t come to save him when he was put through a table on the June 28 episode of SmackDown.

Additionally, even after the former Undisputed WWE Champion returned to WWE, he didn’t try to contact Heyman. Instead, he only recalled he had a Wiseman when he needed a fifth member for his team to fight Solo Sikoa's team at Survivor Series. Thus, the Hall of Famer could backstab The OTC and make him lose the Tribal Combat match against Solo.
#3. Paul Heyman can aid CM Punk
CM Punk will be facing his sworn enemy, Seth Rollins, on RAW’s Netflix debut. The Visionary has been at the throat of Punk even before he returned to the company at the 2023 Survivor Series. Since The Second City Saint helped Roman Reigns in the WarGames match at the request of Heyman, it could be The Wiseman’s turn to return the debt.
While Heyman could help Punk in the match, this may not be the favor he had asked for, considering The Best in the World’s championship aspirations.
#2. The Wiseman could bring The Rock back
The Rock made a cameo appearance at Bad Blood and showed his displeasure at seeing Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teaming up. The WWE Universe has been yearning to see The Final Boss fight The OTC for years. Thus, Paul Heyman could be the catalyst for bringing The Brahma Bull back and kickstarting his feud with Reigns.
The Rock could interfere and cost The OTC his Tribal Combat match. He could also show up or attack him after the match to signal that The Final Boss’ wrath is next in line for Roman Reigns.
#1. Paul Heyman could leave Roman Reigns to become Solo Sikoa’s Wiseman
Paul Heyman already has a lot of reasons to leave and betray Roman Reigns. However, there’s a chance that he could also team up with the new Bloodline. Joining Solo Sikoa and becoming his Wiseman would be the ultimate payback the Hall of Famer can land on the OTC.
While Reigns has had a hard time making the OG Bloodline a cohesive unit, Sikoa’s crew functions like a well-oiled machine. Moreover, The Usos and Sami Zayn worked on improving their teamwork on their own and The OTC didn’t make any contributions to mend their broken synergy. Thus, Heyman could see Solo as a better Tribal Chief and join his side.
While these are some strong storyline directions WWE can take, all of this is speculation so far. It would be interesting to see what Paul Heyman really does at RAW premiere on Netflix.
